Blake has an incredible eye for military portraits and a heart for honoring those who served.
Blake enjoys making pieces of family members and portraits, shoot us any request!
Let's not forget the furry friends! Lost a pet and want to have a piece made?
Blake first got into art as a kid, with paints, mechanical pencil, crayon... The practice fell off for a while as he got older, but not long ago, at a previous job, he decided one night to see if he still had it, & drew a new piece with mechanical pencil.
He showed that drawing to someone, and not long after, he got his first request for a commissioned artwork. This, combined with an inspiring video from another artist Blake follows online, prompted him to step up his game, go out and buy some charcoals, and research what kind of paper to use in order to pursue his art as more than just a hobby.
Blake enjoys the look of "capturing beauty out of chaos" that comes with his use of charcoals. He especially enjoys taking requests to draw subjects like wedding photos, baby photos, military portraits, as, he says, "Especially if it's a loved one, or people that have passed, I can feel the importance and what it will mean to them after they see it."
In 2024 Blake began working for Rally Point Grill / Semper Fi Bar in Woodstock, GA. The owners found out about his artwork and saw the military pieces he could create. They offered to display Blakes art pieces on commission inside the restaurant.
Since offering to do this Blake has sold pieces on display and had military service members including an Army Veteran reach out to him asking for him to commission pieces for fallen heroes and friends, brothers in arms.
Through this Blake has touched and helped to heal those left with invisible wounds of wars. This website is a testament to this as the designer offered to build, host, and maintain Blakes porfolio in appreciation for the art he creates. We hope that his work can continue to heal those families and veterans impacted by war.
